Corporate Sponsorship and Fundraising

There are many ways you can support Inspired Equine Assisted Learning in the work that we do:- Chip and Bree

Fundraising – support our sponsored events through the year, or even organize your own!

Corporate Sponsorship – do you work for a company that likes to get involved with community projects? Nominate us as one of your company's chosen beneficiaries.

Community Schemes – nominate us for local fundraising schemes.

Make a Private Donation – You may wish to sponsor a learner to come for sessions who would not otherwise be able to afford sessions, or to simply contribute towards winter running costs to keep the horses fed and warm during the winter months. For example, £3 buys a bale of hay, £10 buys a bag of horse feed, £249 buys a pallet full of horse bedding.

Donate Equipment – We are often in need of further equipment to use in Equine Assisted Learning sessions i.e. we are currently fundraising to buy a round pen to work the horses in. We are also looking for materials suitable for building simple field shelters for the horses and to construct some additional storage for bedding and equipment.

Volunteering

Inspired Equine Assisted Learning depends on a team of volunteers who help to keep the Centre running smoothly.

Most of our volunteer roles are the necessary behind the scenes jobs such as mucking out stables, field maintenance, painting stables, gardening or even fundraising if you have experience in this area. So if you enjoy being outside in the fresh air and doing something to help the community, please do get in touch.

Volunteers must be over 18 years old and be able to work unsupervised. No previous experience with EAL or horses is necessary as full training will be given, including safety briefings on working around horses and vulnerable clients.

If you are serious about volunteering and would like to get involved, the application process will require a short informal interview at the Centre and you will need to provide two referees and have a DBS check, before starting a trial period.

Voluntary work at Inspired Equine Assisted Learning is not suitable for people looking specifically for hands on experience with horses and clients, although this may be a possibility after the successful completion of your trial period.

Groups

We often have one-off tasks for groups of volunteers to tackle bigger projects – please contact us if you would like to bring a group from your school, college, organisation or workplace.
