Sunset Farm sign We have both indoor and outdoor arenas that allow sessions to continue whatever the weather.

We also offer Life-Coaching, Hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and Reiki. If desired, and appropriate, we can incorporate aspects of these therapies with EAL to create a truly unique and customised therapeutic session.

For more information or to arrange an informal visit to the Centre to discuss your needs, please call Claire on 07711 642247, Mike on 07729 909186 or email info@inspired-eal.co.uk.

When you first attend a session we ask you to complete a brief registration form. Follow these links to see the forms for children and adults.

Health And Safety

We require participants to wear safety helmets and suitable footwear when leading the horses. These can be borrowed from us. Click here to see our Clothing Guidelines for EAL Sessions.

Activities with horses carry an inherent risk as horses can be unpredictable. We always aim to minimize risk by using suitable horses that are supervised by trained staff at all times and matched to the capabilities of each participant. During each session we also continually assess the participants, horses and other external risk factors such as the weather. Click here to see our current Risk Assessments for EAL Sessions.

Volunteers who assist with sessions will have had two checked references and a DBS check. They will have been trained in horse safety and how to assist clients. They will never be in sole charge of clients.

Horse welfare is paramount at Inspired Equine Assisted Learning. We have a team of six horses who are respected as partners in our work. Horses are selected for a session according to the specific activities being undertaken and individual client needs. Our horses are trained sympathetically and kept in an environment which fulfils as many of their natural needs as possible. All our clients are encouraged to be actively involved with the care of the horses. Any physical abuse towards our horses will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
